About the Wall Street Protocol Checklist
The Wall Street Protocol Ultimate Checklist is a comprehensive framework for evaluating stock trading opportunities based on technical analysis and proven trading principles.
Checklist Criteria
The stock price should be trading above its 50-day simple moving average, indicating short-term bullish momentum.
The stock price should be trading above its 200-day simple moving average, indicating long-term bullish trend.
The 50-day moving average should be above the 200-day moving average, a classic bullish signal.
Current trading volume should be at least 1.5x the average volume, confirming breakout strength.
The stock should show positive Mansfield Relative Strength, indicating outperformance versus the market index.
A logical stop loss should be set, typically 7-8% below entry price or below recent support levels.
The potential reward should be at least twice the risk, ensuring favorable risk management.
Entry point, target price, and stop loss should all be clearly defined before entering the trade.
How to Use This Tool
- Configure API Key: Enter your Twelve Data API key in the configuration section. You can get a free API key at twelvedata.com.
- Enter Stock Symbol: Type the ticker symbol of the stock you want to analyze (e.g., AAPL, MSFT, TSLA).
- Set Target Price (Optional): Enter your price target to calculate the reward-to-risk ratio.
- Analyze: Click the "Analyze Stock" button to fetch real-time data and evaluate the checklist.
- Review Results: Check which criteria the stock passes or fails.
- Save & Export: Save successful analyses to history or export them as JSON files for record-keeping.
API Rate Limits
The free tier of Twelve Data API allows:
- 8 API calls per minute
- 800 API calls per day
The application automatically manages rate limits and will notify you if you need to wait before making additional requests.
